Teaching Standards

During graduate school at Ithaca College, I developed and were held to 8 significant standards. Over the past 5 years as a full-time teacher, I have more fully developed these standards.

 

As you navigate through this section, you will find:

• A description of each standard 

• My personal perspective on the standard, how theory and research inform my understanding of each standard, how I have integrated each standard into my work, and how my understanding of that standard has evolved over time.

• Each standard is also accompanied by artifacts, which are presented as evidence of how I have or am meeting that standard.
